There’s no shortage of activities in the Bay Area, and for those who live in Berkeley or are planning a vacation here, the coming months will surely be a treat for sports and music fans. The Oakland Coliseum Upcoming Events board is packed with baseball, basketball games and concerts.

This fall, expect a lot of traffic—particularly for those days which are booked for the concerts of Ricky Martin, Arjit Singh, and TFC’s One Kapamilya Go. With foreign artists coming for performances, it’s expected that the massive Latin, Indian and Filipino communities will be coming in hordes to support them. R. Kelly will be having a concert here, too; on October 2nd, he will be serenading R&B fans with his hits.

Also, fresh from their NBA Championship win, the Golden State Warriors’ games, which are held at the Oracle Arena, always draw in big crowds. The entire Bay Area is hoping for a victorious “repeat” for the home team, and there’s nothing like the support of local fans to fire up the current champions into aiming for the highest glory in the basketball world again.

Post-Christmas, the event board remains packed with games, but there are also some specials lined up, especially for February when Disney takes “Disney on Ice — Frozen” to the Oracle Arena. “Disney on Ice” is always a big deal in NorCal, especially among the kids who love the stories, music and magic of Disney Princesses.

It’s important to mention as well that Monster Jam will be making a comeback at the O.co Coliseum. This event is much anticipated in the area because families can come to watch their favorites battle and crunch it out on the field. In addition to the showcase of monster trucks, there’s a grand event for riders; Monster Energy AMA Supercross will be held at the O.co Coliseum, three weeks before Monster Jam. On January 30th, 2016 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, will hold races with some of the best riders in the world. It’s another action-packed event that locals will surely come to watch. This event likewise features a Party in the Pits all day for both fans and riders.

So, to all of those who are interested to know about the things to do in Berkeley especially for the next several months, the ones mentioned here are some of the best you can expect from the Oakland Coliseum – a solid combination of sporting events and musical extravaganzas.
